Changelog

Regulation (EU) 2026/1744, published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 24 July 2026, amends Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on artificial intelligence. Article 4 of Regulation (EU) 2026/1744 itself provides:

“This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.”

In force since 27 July 2026. Among other changes, it amends Article 113 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, which sets the dates of application, and changes the wording of its Article 4 (AI literacy, a measures-based obligation, not one of result) and the transitional regime.

We have updated Alethexis to the new wording: the dates of application you see on the platform and the regulatory references in your sections cite the text in force, and we have removed the notices that anticipated its publication.

Version 1.0 launches Alethexis with its four modules:

• M1 Visibility — AI systems inventory, risk classification, AI use policy and supplier review.
• M2 Governance — AI committee, responsibility matrix, risk and decision registers, change management and operations.
• M3 High-Risk Ready — fundamental rights impact assessment (FRIA), data protection impact assessment (DPIA) and evidence management.
• Agentic — specific governance for AI systems with autonomy.
